Poem: Breaking the News
We are making breaking news.
We are commanding your views.
Do not ask for facts.
We don’t work on that.
Do not ask for restrain.
We don’t that maintain.
Do not ask for secrecy.
We reveal all for publicity.
We sell lies as truth.
We turn bad to good.
We raise senseless chatter.
TRP is all that matters.
We are making breaking news.
We are commanding your views.

The poem represents really a true picture of today’s reality of tv news channels and social media, where the only goal is TRP, and for that they will do anything and ready to stoop any low. They no more bring out facts, but now manufacture them!
I wish to summarise in a couplet
मत पूछो सच्चाई का आलम
वो रोज़ बस यहाँ पर मरती है
जो कोख उसे जन सकती थी
वो कोख रोज़ यहाँ उजड़ती है!
